DVD Talk review of Fox in a Box
I just read Ian Jane's review for MGM's Fox in a Box: http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=19302 and he states "Each of the three features are presented in 1.85.1 widescreen and all three are enhanced for anamorphic sets."
I own MGM previous Coffey DVD and it is not anamorphic enhanced and I was wondering if Ian could double check to see if this new release of Coffey is really anamorphic enhanced. Since it is very rare that MGM when they package previously released titles to go back and do a new transfer. |
glad to know, but would also like a double check...i noticed the same old cases in the new box and assumed it was just a repackage...great news if the disc are anamorphic.

i guess Ian istaking the weekend off.

EDIT (in case anyone doesn't read any further) - Sheba Baby and Foxy are 16x9, Coffy is not.

Ah, shit, sorry, I did screw up. For some reason, I read Sheba Baby and not Coffy above (not sure how, but there you go). Sheba baby is definitely 16x9, Coffy definitely is not. My mistake, sorry for any confusion there. The review has been corrected accordingly. So to clarify and lay it all to rest:
Foxy Brown - 16x9 Sheba, Baby - 16x9 Coffy - letterboxed (not 16x9) |
tisk tisk...
