DVD Talk review of 'Cheaper By the Dozen - Baker's Dozen Edition'

I read DVD Savant's DVD review of Cheaper By the Dozen - Baker's Dozen Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=19083 and I couldn't agree more. I borrowed this from my parents and was disgusted at how the children do whatever they want and the parents basically role over for the kids. This movie does nothing to teach children how to behave and only enforces the "kids run the house" thinking of this decade.

Oh please, it's just a movie man! In real life, I would understand but it's just a movie, get over it!

Point taken. It is, however, a family film and as such would be a better film if it encouraged better values and behaviour.

That doesn't mean you have to enjoy watching that kind of behavior celebrated on screen.

Gee and where do a lot of today's children get their values & attitudes from? Media (tv, movies, video games). I guess maybe I hit a nerve there but my opinion still stands and you aren't going to make me change it with comments like that. Try to be constructive next time and not just rant.
