I should have a copy late next week, and I'll post a review as soon as it gets here.

Is it just my imagination or did these Batman episodes have different opening sequence than the original series. On the set its the same opening as the first season.

It's a strange setup. If you just watch individual episodes it plays the original intro, but if you hit play all it takes you to a menu where you must select to view with either the old or newer intro.

Best picture quality of the 4 volumes on Batman. Superman looks slightly better too

Thumbs up on adding chapter skips past the intros (new Superman set has it too).

My Best Buy accidently broke street date and I got it a week early but I haven't really watched the extras yet.

*edit* But I would say they're both pretty slim on extras.

Thanks. I don't think i would have ever hit play all if you hadn't mentioned it. The New Adventures opening is ok but pales in comparison to the original. But then again that original has to be one of the best openings to any show ever, so i guess nothing really could compare.
