DVD Talk review of 'MADtv - The Best of Seasons 8, 9 & 10'
I read Scott Weinberg's DVD review of MADtv - The Best of Seasons 8, 9 & 10 at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=18256 and... I feel that someone who doesn't dislike this genre of television, should have reviewed this DVD. I wouldn't ask my grandmother to review a horror film, because I know she hates them.

After reading the review, I agree. I have a feeling that the reviewers don't always have a choice of what they have to review, but that review didn't seem entirely fair to people who may be interested in actually picking up the set. I don't mind reviewers giving their honest opinion of a movie or TV show, but to trash something so harshly seems a bit much.

If they had to do a "Best Of", I wish it had been for earlier seasons, as although I laughed here ("Oprah: Jackass", for example), I miss seeing some of Will Sasso's great efforts (I'd gladly buy an entire "Mad TV: Best of Will Sasso" DVD) from seasons past.
