DVD Talk review of 'Doctor Detroit'

I read Scott Weinberg's DVD review of Doctor Detroit at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17833 and...

Found it to be completely off the mark regarding the film's quality. I think this is one of the funniest raunchy comedies of the '80s, much funnier than, say, CADDYSHACK. I wish Dan Aykroyd was still this funny. Next to THE BLUES BROTHERS, Aykroyd's finest hour.

I'm still waiting for The Wrath of Mom.

Re: DVD Talk review of 'Doctor Detroit'

Just watched this for the first time. I thought that the voice that Aykroyd used for the Doctor Detroit character sounded a lot like Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers movies. So was Aykroyd also doing a Lorne Michaels impersonation?
