DVD Talk review of 'The Blues Brothers: 25th Anniversary Edition'
I read Scott Weinberg's DVD review of The Blues Brothers: 25th Anniversary Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17154 and...
Great review! This movie is indeed a modern classic; it was a different world then.
Remembered (roughly) this phrase: "Attention all units, the use of excessive force to capture the Blues Brothers has been authorized"
Even the VHS tape is great. Eagerly looking forward to this DVD.

For me the extended version was the theatrical release. This is the version that opened, then they cut it down. I forget the exact timing but I recall when I first saw it on vhs i wondered why it was different than the theater!
