DVD Talk review of 'Titus Seasons 1 & 2'

I read Preston Jones's DVD review of Titus Seasons 1 & 2 at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16898 and...

As I recall Titus was shot in 1080p hi-def, and was definitely shown in widescreen on FOX.

An anamorphic transfer was in order here.

Thanks for the information ... I've appended my review accordingly and will do some digging. So far, all I've been able to confirm is that the show was filmed with 24p cameras - I've found no concrete evidence that the show was broadcast in either widescreen or hi-def. I'll amend my review accordingly when I can confirm this. Thanks!

I'm confirming it, I watched it in "digital-widescreen" on FOX (before they went hi-def).

That article clearly states that the 1st season, even though shot on film, was being preserved for HD. The 2nd and 3rd seasons were shot in HD video.

I'm not challenging your memory or saying you're wrong - I'm merely waiting for some kind of clarification from either Fox or Anchor Bay before I make any changes to the review ... I've e-mailed both and am awaiting a statement. Thanks!
