Silent Film Collections

I'm looking for silent film collections that highlight the work of George Melies. Also, I'm interested in DVDs that contain African American silent films. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You,

You beat me to the punch Garmonbozia. I was thinking of those collections too. As for African American silent film; there was a 12 VHS tape set, "The African-American Film Heritage Series", that I recall hearing was transfered to DVD. I believe the DVDs were only meant for libraries and other educational institutions and not for sale to the general public. You might want to see if you can get them via inter-library loan.
