DVD Talk review of 'The Upside of Anger'

I read Scott Lecter's DVD review of The Upside of Anger at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16920 and...

I couldn't disagree more with Scott's review...but he's certainly in the majority of critics. I personally felt UPSIDE was a poorly written movie with really good actors in it that were let down by a bad script.

The movie does show some life in the final 45-minutes or so...but I don't think that's enough to save the movie.

I guess I'm just wondering if I'm the only one out there who thought this was a BAD film, or if I'm alone on this...

Good review though Scott...even though I disagree with you. :)

Thanks for the kind words, Shannon. We're all entitled to our opinion, of course, but I'm glad you still enjoyed the review. Even if you completely disagree with me. ;)

Thanks Scott...I'm actually interested to see if I'm out alone in left field with my opinion. Glad you didn't take my comments as any sort of attack on your review, which they certainly were not - since it's a well-written piece.

Here's one critic who's more on your side, Shannon:

I personally haven't seen it, but I'm not a fan of "Mind of the Married Man".

FWIW, I completely agree with you. It was good to see Costner not get in his own way for a change. His character was more sympathetic than Joan Allen's, and I would have disowned all the daughters.
