DVD Talk review of 'On a Clear Day You Can See Forever'

I read DVD Savant's DVD review of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=14736 and...I loved the movie! And I loved Paint Your Wagon.

It would of been nice if there'd been some extras, but I'm just thrilled to have such beautiful copies. I saw both when they were in the theaters and I have the VHS of Clear Day and I think the DVD put both predecessors in the shade.

I do wish my 5.1 speakers would of gotten more of a work-out. Mores the pity. I'll have the tunes going off in my head for days or until I watch Where The Boys Are.

I wonder how old Jack Nicholson was? He looked lean and mean and incredibly miscast as a hippy.

Babs looked so sexy in the banquet scenes too. She has always known how to make the most of what God gave her. Or should I say how to play down the worst and dress up to cover up imperfections. I got a kick out of seeing the 70's style clothes. Only Ms. Streisand could of worn some of those outfits! And Yves Montand was yummy.

I'm thankful to DDD for the sale too so I could beef up my Babs collection! Thanks to Paramount too! Good job.
