DVD Talk review of 'Super Friends, Volume Two'

I read David Walker's DVD review of Super Friends, Volume Two at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16295 and can't for the life of me figure out why he'd request the discs. He obviously KNEW he wouldn't like it and didn't even give any detail about what is on the set. I'm not saying that this series is great by any means, but the reviewer didn't even give it a fair shake.

Honestly I think he requested it out of "childhood nostalga" and then was blown away by how much he hated it.

Even if he hated the content, there is absolutely no reason for the video and audio quality ratings he listed being so low. The Fat Albert DVD had conversions over from PAL that looked it and he gave that 2 1/2 stars when he only gave the Superfriends VQ one star. Even if he hated the show, people read these reviews and he really should take more responsiblity for what he writes.

I've found that in many reviews, the reviewers feelings on the movie/tv show effect the grade for the audio, video, and extras.

Sure, not as great as Challenge but I love it - because of nostalgia and the high cheese factor.

Well, my interest is piqued! Now I have to read the review-sounds like a good one.

I just don't think how good the content of something is should effect his review of the audio & video quality. If he hates it that much, he can send it to me.
