Screeners for Universal product generally aren't available to the press until on or after street date. Universal has never exactly been a press-friendly entity.

That review seems to indicate that the new version is 46 seconds shorter than the old one.

Jesus, did they screw with the overexposure? The review was a bit confusing, but the screen caps do make it seemed "corrected" a bit too much. Richardson was going for a really nice blown-out look similar to what he did in JFK. Might have to hang on to my laserdisc of this one...it's not screaming buy-me, especially with no Scorsese commentary.
