DVD Talk review of 'Alexandra's Project'

Has anyone else watched this specific version of the film? I ask because I have the Canadian R1 edition, and the aspect ratio of the film is 1.78:1 (I saw it in Sept 2004 and could have sworn it was shown at 2.35:1). Robert's review says the film is 2.35, so I just want to know if that's 100% true before I purchase an OAR copy.
