Short version is they didn't like it.

Hell can be a bad place
 

Yep, some won't like it. It's surely geared toward the fans of the comic book....

In that review, I thought this was funny.....

And there isn’t a trace of humor to be found either unless you count the atrocious dialogue that is often howlingly bad.
"There is no freedom in Hell."
"You’ve learned much in your time in Hell, but I sense your spirit seems troubled."
Good grief! It’s Hell, for crying out loud!

I hope we just noticed the same thing, 'cause that's awfully similar to my review. Either way, i's right on: it's a bad script, no doubt.

Lady Death is a bloody, mindless gore-fest, and it doesn't try to be much more than that. Take it at face value, or leave it on the shelves.
