DVD Talk review of 'Spider-Man - The '67 Collection (6 Volume Animated Set)'

Cool review for Spider-Man `67 Collection. I'm loving this box-set, a lot of fun for sure. It's too bad that's its light on extras. Man alive, I wish there was an isolated music track! Some insight into the old Krantz studio would have been cool too. In fact, I'm picking up on a lot of voice actors from an earlier Krantz effort, Rocket Robin Hood: Len Carlson, Gillie Fenwick, Paul Kligman, Chris Wiggins, and Bernard Cowen as the imperturbable narrator, among others. Great box-set all around and a well deserved entry to the DVD Talk Collectors Series.

While I was reviewing it, I kept thinking about all the special features that could've been included. Certainly a set as cool as this doesn't need extras, but a few interviews or a restrospective documentary would've been perfect.

I'm just happy the episodes look as good as they do.

The only extra that I really would have liked is a retrospective with comic artists/writers from today talking about what the series meant to them. Because you know that many of them were probably big fans of it... and for some it might have been their introduction to the world of Spidey.
