how is the transfer on Interview with a Vampire?

I know Warner usually puts out pretty nice transfers but this disk seems pretty packed with a 2 hour movie, English and French DD 5.1 tracks, a full-bite rate DTS track, commentary, 30-minute documentary, and trailer. So does the video hold up well? If so, I'm going to pick it up at Bestbuy with their 2 for $20 deal.

"...a full-bite rate DTS track..."

...I'm pretty sure it's half bit-rate...

Anyway, here's a (glowing!) review of that particular release...

...yeah... it also says "Dolby Digital Formats: None" and "DTS Formats: None" and "Subtitles/Captions: None"... can't trust those *!#@^$&!* reviews any more...

HOWEVER... if the disc indeed has a DD5.1 soundtrack + a commentary track (+ all the extras!) it seems highly unlikely to me that the DTS track will be full-bit - there just ain't enough 'room' on the disc for that, I'd say - but hey! what do I know?...

Looks great on my 27-inch flatscreen. Of course if you're the proud owner of a 52-inch HDTV, your mileage may vary.

And hey, at two for $20, what've you got to loose in any case? If you like Pitt, Cruise, or vampire flicks in general, then go for it! It's definately a good one.

...like I said: what do I know?... (of course 'they' may have made a mistake...)... it just seems strange that the review I linked didn't mention it, when it did mention the DD5.1 bit-rate...
