DVD Talk review of 'Big O II - Paradigm Lost'
I read Don Houston's DVD review of Big O II - Paradigm Lost at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=8409 and...
Yeah, The Big O is a really good show. If you like Cowboy Bebop I highly recommend this. Along with Bebop this series is quite "Noir". I purchased the first season set blind and was blown away. The first season set can be found for ~$35 if you look a bit.
I have drawn the line on individual episode purchases. I will not purchase piecemeal for >$60 when you just know a set will arrive for half that. Unfortunately it will take at least a year before that happens.

It really is too bad that animation still isn't accepted as a valid way of telling a serious "adult" story here in the US.
The Big O is every bit as good as any of the serialized detective shows shown on PBS. One day someone in the big studios will realize animation isn't just for kids.
