DVD Talk review of 'Jackpot'

I read Aaron Beierle's DVD review of Jackpot at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=3124 and...

It sucks. I felt the movie was topnotch, it's one of those movies that I really hated that it was ending. I bought into their quest and wanted to see what happened, and the characterization and relationship between the two main characters works, because there was a twist near the end that I just did NOT want to happen. And this is a good thing, it shows that I care about the characters, and view movies make me feel that. That's not evening mentioning the quirky and original atmosphere, and very subtle but adult humor, mixed in with some very hilarious and engaging scenes. Yeah, the pace is slow, but that is done on purpose to draw you into the movie. I resent the notion that this movie doesn't have a point. That reviewer sucks.

I also enjoyed this film and would watch it again. Definately has some very nice character work by the actors and I was also engaged with the journey that the characters were making in the film.

I don't think the reviewer "sucks." This film just didn't do it for him.
