Star Trek: TNG Season 4 or Season 6?
For a couple months now I've enjoyed Season 5 of Star Trek: TNG on DVD. It's been the first season I've purchased, and the steep price is keeping me from buy all 7 right now. I loved Season 5, and can't decide if I should get Season 6, or Season 4. Which one do you guys think I should get? Ideally I'd like to get both now, but funds don't allow it.

I'd go with Season Four:
Great Shows:
Best of Both Worlds, Part II
Family
The Drumhead
Half A Life
Redemption Part I
As compared to Season Six, in which I only consider the following episodes "Great":
Chain of Command Part I
Chain of Command Part II
Tapestry
However, Chain of Command and Tapestry are so darn good, it may even out the choice a bit.

I have seasons 4, 5 and 6. I would go with season 4 all the way, but you once you watch the 1st show (Best of Both Worlds, Part II) you will want to go out and buy Season 3 so you can watch the cliff hanger (Best of Both Worlds, Part I).

Can't go wrong with either one... 4 and 6 are both great seasons. But, as mentioned, if you're getting season 4, you should probably rent the last disc of season 3. Otherwise, you'll only catch the end of one of the best episodes of the entire run.

Thanks for the suggestion guys! I actually picked up Season last week and have been enjoying it immensely. Chain of Command I & II are fantastic, and Tapestry was very good. I also rather enjoyed Schisms. Along with that I was so eager to watch the entire Redemption I & II that I went ahead and puchased Season 4 from a B&M store. Needless to say I have so many great episodes to watch and am very excited! I started watching Season 4 with "Best Of Both Worlds II", and I loved it! I remember watching all these episodes a long time ago. Now, I feel I need to get Season 3 to watch part I. How are the other episodes in Season 3? I remember not liking the first episodes (Season 1 & 2), but I'm wondering if Season 3 is only good because of Best of Both Worlds I, or are there some great episodes in that Season as well?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Season 3 is where it started to get good. It probably has one of the best episodes ever (Yesterdays Enterprise) as well as several other good one like Booby Trap and Deja Q.
And of course it has Best of Both Worlds I
Im going to start buying these soon and will start with season 3 (maybe ill pick up season 1 and 2 further down the line just to be a completist)
