I did NOT love that movie but I still think you might like Amor Es Perros if you haven't seen it yet...

Basically anything by Julio Medem:
La Ardilla Roja
Lovers Of The Artic Circle
Sex & Lucia (Sadly, the one available in Region 1)

Possibly another recent Mexican film:
El Crimen del Padre Amaro

My apologies. What I meant to state was that this is sadly the only Medem film available in Region 1.

I dont mean to be an ass, but Y Tu Mama Tambien, is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Talk about trying to be safisticated and failing on every level...

Dumb.... so very very dumb....

I don't mean to be an ass, but your attempt at a 'sophisticated' critique of Y Tu Mama Tambian has been overshadowed by dreadful spelling and poor articulation. Thus, I cannot take your opinion into consideration. Thanks for threadcrapping all the same.

What did you like best about the movie? The love triangle and sexual themes or the mexican style cinema.

Kinda apples and oranges, but I'll recommend Almodovar. See if you like Todo Sobre Mi Madre, then check out Hable Con Ella. After that Atame or maybe Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Didn't care much for Kika.

Definitely "Talk To Her", which just came on on DVD the other week. It won an oscar or two, including best original screenplay I think.

The post above you recommended this as "Hable Con Ella" is "Talk To Her".
