Strange movie, haven't seen it in a while - but do remember not really liking the Van Gogh dream. Liked the soldier and the tunnel one though (even though it didn't make much sense to me when I first saw it).

I have giddily been waiting for this to come out on dvd since I got my player 4 years ago. It cannot come in the mail soon enough. I have not been able to bring myself to watch my dub complete with macrovision in a long time, lol. I love the last story the best.

I purchased the R2 version (which appears to be exactly the same as the R1 in every respect) and it was almost all that I hoped for. If I had to change one thing it would have been to include a remixed DD5.1 platform as opposed to the DD2.0 that's presented. Other than that the presentation is pretty stellar.
