Dances With Wolves OOP Image release pic & vid quality?

Since the new release is coming, I'm wondering if I should get rid of my DD 5.1 Image release, since it is the theatrical version. I never opened it.

I have the DD version that I am selling on ebay......the pic and audio are excellent(IMO) I have been looking forward to the extended version for quite some time now. I am not concerned regarding the quality of the new version......I would bet it easily matches or surpasses the older version in both audio and video.

Transfer is very good, anamorphic, clean. DTS track is also very good, full bit rate. Pick it up if you can find it cheap enough (your local Best Buy may still have a copy), the new SE will not contain the theatrical cut of the film nor will it have the DTS track.

I for one with not be upgrading this one. I have the DD version & its quite good. I hate all these re-edited extended versions. It's like putting arms on the Venus DeMilo. Leave motion picture art alone please!

Dances with Wolves DTS is what a Superbit SHOULD be... incredible high bitrate picture coupled with full bitrate DTS sound.
