One Night at McCool's
 

I bought One Night at McCool's (the blue cover version) today at Meijers and like to know if this is indeed widescreen. The back of the package both states 16x19 widescreen as well as "This film has been formatted from its original format. It has been formatted to fit your TV."

Anyone know ???

I think it's both, but it's been awhile since I've watched my dvd. There's a menu choice for either WS or FS.

There is no Fullscreen transfer on the disc, Only anamorphic widescreen.

The only possible reason they have the modified message on the cover is that the film was 1.85:1 and on the disc it's 1.77:1 Technically that would be formatted.

More than likely it's not supposed to be there at all, kinda like the 16X19 misprint...
