Review Wanted: Scarlett Diva
 

I know that this movie came out about a month ago but I haven't heard too much about it. I have a couple of friends who went to see it and they really liked it. They said that the movie was a real slice of life-type movie. Very realistic. I want to know what people's thoughts about the film are and I would like to know about the DVD.

I got this dvd from DDD just because of the good reviews that I read about and saw it tonight. Its ok IMHO. Nothing spectacular. The nude scenes were nothing grand. I thought there were more graphic ones in Showgirls.

yawn. too much sex to be an art film, not nearly enough sex to be a sex film, just rambling and tedious and pointless. "But it's a METAPHOR! for LIFE!" whatever. And the acting gets just painful at times, as does the writing.

Supposedly the commentary track is genius though.
