Amadeus Director's Cut Review (a much different movie)

i'm surprised that no one has pointed it out yet. to the trained eye (i've seen amadeus about 10-15 times before watching the Director's cut) it was quite a surprise.

as for the story, I can't say either version is suprior than the other, but they are very different movies indeed. so different I noticed that the characters develop differently, and some of the sub plots are not just added, but different from the theatrical release as well. I was surprised that they even had the film to make this DVD. they must have shot a lot of extra stuff.

I was wondering what I was gonna do with my original Amadeus DVD, and now I know to keep it.

How does the video quality hold up after five years on the original? I know it won't be the same, but is it serviceable?
