Being John Malcovich, good dvd?

Just curious, I like this movie alot (well John Cusack is great, and the story is so bizarre and funny), just curious if the DVD quality/extras is any good.

Thx. And is there a SE or LE or just 1 release? I hate not buying the best one :p

The Special Edition is the only release. It's been awhile since I've watched it, but it is a good release. Okay audio and video and some entertaining and quite odd extras, including the full orientation video and a faux documentary on John Malkovich the puppeteer. The oddest extra though is the Spike Jonze interview. For some reason, I found it to be hilariously funny but most just find it pointless and gross.

I think the movie is good. Reminded me a bit of Brazil, in spirit and comedy and how one man was fighting against this corporate image that he had no control over in the end. Not quite as good as Brazil mind you, but good. And the extras on the DVD are well done, with a good number of easter eggs in there. I'd buy it, if I were you. I doubt this is going to get any kind of lavish treatment anytime soon.

Best feature on here is the "Page with Nothing On It".

The dvd's good, but it could be better. However, i probably wouldn't expect an SE anytime soon - hopefully Criterion will one day get their hands on it?
