Review Wanted: Original Sin

Don't care about the movie. I just want to know if Jolie gets nekkid?

Adam Tyner 03-21-02 03:34 PM

According to IGN, "Yes, she gets naked a lot in the movie."

 Works for me. Plus I like the sound of unrated edition.

How good of a DVD is this movie? Special Features etc?Nudity? How good of a plot does it have?Worth a purchase? Can people please compare both the "R" rated DVD of this movie as well the unrated DVD ? Thanks!

Your thoughts/feelings?

There's more sex / nudity in the unrated.

No, I haven't seen either version. Yes, that's just a wild guess. But I'd put a huge sum of money on it.

What is this supposed to mean? I've seen a variation of that phrase in just about every thread you've ever started... why?

Geofferson 03-24-02 11:49 AM

I've heard everywhere that this movie is terrible. Yet, I still have a curiosity to see it. Jolie's being naked plays a big part in this, let's say. ;)

I watched the first 20 minutes last night. Let's just say if you are Jolie fan, you won't be dissapointed with the first love scene of the movie. For a moment, I thought I was watching a late night Skinamax movie. :D

Because, Mr. Turner, it's what's on the inside that counts.

So Red Dog...have you finished the movie yet? Is it worth watching, in your opinion?

eedoon 03-29-02 12:01 PM

The hot part is only on the first half of the movie. The rest... well... not as hot as the first sex scene.

Not yet. Probably later tonight. Eedoon probably nailed it though - it would be tough to top that scene.

You're being generous. It's exactly what he's put in every thread in DVD Reviews, including:

Slap Shot
Slap Shot 2
Original Sin
The Glass House
OZ
The Godfather
The Locusts
The Funeral
Joy Ride
Tomb Raider
Dudley Do Right

A total of 29 times in just the past month, Aaron Amos has posted the exact same thing (many of which he started, but never replied to posted reviews):

Yeah, I'm afraid I realize that... just don't know what I can say without it being a personal attack ;)

I agree. Ive always been interested in seeing this film but past up on it in the theaters. Well i bought it last Tuesday and saw it on Saturday with my GF and we both enjoyed it. It had an involving story and i loved the setting in the movie. As for the sex/nudity. Theres an explicit sex scene in the first half of the movie that was  There was plenty of Jolie to see and it was a very hot scene. But nothing else was as hot as that scene. Overall i enjoyed it alot, pick it up if you have a chance. Oh, on the back of the DVD cover it says this film was released in 2000, wasn't it released last July or August in 2001?

...ahh!... Antonio's buttocks!!... Angelina's breasts!!!...

...now that you've feasted your eyes on these present-day stars, go watch a real film: François Truffaut's 1969 version of the same Cornell Woolrich novel - Waltz Into Darkness - that Original Sin is based on: Mississippi Mermaid, starring the young and lovely Catherine Deneuve and the young and sexy Jean-Paul Belmondo...

Yeah, but do we get to see Deneuve's nekkid breasts? If not, I'll just watch The Hunger instead...

Back to the original topic, I believe I read that the love scenes in Original Sin were particularly difficult to shoot due to Angelina's many tatoos. Apparently, they had to pile on layer after layer of pancake makeup to cover them up. Oooh, talk about sexy.
