The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly -- never felt the power of the final showdown between all 3 until I saw them at the extreme edges of the frame....great stuff!

The Sons Of Katie Elder

John Wayne, Dean Martin, Earl Holliman, & Michael Anderson Jr.

The shots consistently have them standing or riding from the left most portion, over to the right most portion.

All Movies should be in widescreen. Full screen should be outlawed.

Mad Max has to be seen in OAR. Many of the stunts are amazing, and just how amazing is lost in P/S.

I remember the first time I say the Star Wars Trilogy in widescreen after having watched in in Pand and Scan my whole life. I couldn't believe some of the stuff I had been missing.

Same thing with the Indy trilogy

Brazil .. some people are unmoved by it, others (like me), absolutely love it. Either way it is one of those movies you HAVE to see.

Just about any movie is better in Widescreen(even better if the widescreen it at the theater).

The movie I am looking forward to seeing in wide again is:
The Man from Snowy River

The landscapes from downunder will take you breath away. And I can't wait to see that horse run down the hill in slow motion. I remember everyone in the theater gasp when he road down that hill. I you have never seen the movie, you are in for a treat on May 28th.

What I would like to see in widescreen

I know that this will sound very weird. But I am animation fan. I would like to see All Dogs goto Heaven, Secret Of Nimh, and I would like to see An American Tail on DVD. I have always been a fan of Animation.

must see

Klute looks really good on the new DVD flipper. Getting all
the girls in the "selection" shot at the beginning would be
difficult on a full frame picture.

Another favourite widescreen picture is Heaven's Gate.
