I love this movie and am tempted by the low price it has but was wondering if it is b/c of low quality of transfer and sound. What do you guys think? Is it worth $15? Are you glad you got it?

It is worth the money. The video is anamorphic and has 5.1 DD sound. There is nothing to complain about based on the audio and video, both are well done. I think the lack of extras is what makes Fargo so inexpensive. I believe that the only extra is a trailer.

I believe that there were two releases of this movie. The first one, which I think was released by Polygram, is now OOP. The second one was put out by MGM, I think.

I own the original release but never opened it. I haven't had a chance to compare it against the 2nd release. I heard that the 2nd release has an anamorphic print, but many people have complained that the colors (especially the snow scenes) don't look as good.

Definitely worth the money. A slow, satirical drama. Excellent over a nice cup of cocoa.
