Diva: Differnce between the versions.

The movie "Diva" is one of my favorite movies, so when I first got my DVD player, I bought the DVD put out by Foxlorber. It wasn't the best picture nor sound but I was glad to have it on DVD. I recently found out that"Diva" was re-released but this time by Anchor Bay. I'm wondering if anyone has seen the Anchor Bay version and could tell me if its worth upgrading. I've read a review on Amazon that the sound is much better (5.1) and the picture isn't as good but how much difference is there?

The picture on the Anchor Bay release is WAY better than the Fox Lorber release. The Anchor Bay version features an anamorphic transfer and is much cleaner and sharper with deep blacks and excellent contrast. Definitely upgrade to the Anchor Bay. I believe that Deep Discount DVD has this title for $15 shipped. You can find a review here: http://www.dvdauthority.com/diva.asp
