Definately will be picking that up, along with Dave Matthews Band: 1994-2001 The Videos on the same day :)

At least we now have actual confirmation that a commentary exists, video commentary to boot.

Damn, and I thought I could get through the rest of this year without wanting to add another title to my wish list.....Oh well...Honey, I have a list of 100 things I want for Christmas.......

I can't wait for this one. The pictures of the video commentary look like they were having a blast.

The Commentary should be awesome. i cant wait to hear there insights.

Like he said at DVDFILE: If you're a fan of Goonies, this might be your new favorite commentary.

I just wanna hear and see the actors cringe about what they were like 16 years ago - the 80s in all their glory. This movie is definitely a piece of nostalgia for me. Listening to all the Goonies reminiscing would probably make it even more nostalgic.

I was already gonna get this but after reading that review, I want it even more! Thanks for the link to the review. :)

Here's another rave review: http://www.dvdauthority.com/thegoonies.htm

I'm so glad they didn't screw this one up. I've grown up on this movie and has been the DVD I've been most eagerly awaiting.

Is this just me?

Last night, I was watching my newely purchased the Goonies DVD.

I didn't like the DVD case. The special features was kinda nice. But one big big problem I had was it kept skipping! Any of you have this problem? My dvd player is an apex 600AD. Not the best dvd player but it usually doesn't have problems play dvds...

Other people have said this, and they said it was because their player couldn't handle the seamless branching that is used for the commentary.

Cornfed 08-29-01 02:13 PM

This probably didn't come up on either of my players.
