Reviews wanted for Return of the Living Dead Pt 1 & 3 Region 2 DVD's

Hey if anyone can give me some reviews of these DVD's I would appreciate it. Sound, picture etc.. Is Pt. one in widescreen? The back of the box says it is in its original aspect ratio but does not give what it is... Pt. 3 I believe is not.

Also does anyone know why the ROTLD 3 Region 2 run time is 93 minutes and the one coming out on Region 1 is 97 minutes???

Thanks for any help...

The difference in the running time is most likely due to PAL having a slightly faster frame rate making a movie run a little shorter. Both DVDs are fullscreen. As for reviews:

Kind of a dumb question, but It has been bugging me... If PAL is viewed at a faster frame rate, does the audio ever get off sync? Or is it sped up some how to compensate... I know that it would not sound like the audio is faster, but is that how it is done, or does it just not affect it enough?

Hey, for anyone that cares, ROTLD 3 Region 2 DVD(which is UNCUT) is an open Matte version not Pan & Scan. I compared several screen shots from the new release of ROTLD 3 US release which is widescreen but cut... the Region 2 DVD is just not matted for widescreen. So you actually get more picture but not the OAR that the director indended. As far as I can tell you don't see things that you shouldn't boom mikes etc... Just a heads up for anyone not completely happy with the new DVD release here in the US...
