Repo Man: Review Please.
Repo Man is it any good and why should I get it. I never heard anything about this film, but it must be one of those films that I just missed. Thanks in advance. :)

I found it boring, and just could not get into the movie. This movie does have a cult following however. IMO I think you would be better renting this first. I bought this movie sight unseen, and traded it away right after I saw it, and that is very rare for me. I tend to enjoy almost anything :) |
Great, loud punk music. Strange behavior, and a few bodies. Most films with Harry Dean Stanton have some merit. I love the film, but it is not for everyone.

Thanks for the replies. :)

well, the film is stupid and silly, but I really enjoy it.
There are some really great one-liners, especially from Harry Dean Stanton, and there are some really cool & funny details in the film that one might not pick up on first viewing. I saw the tv edit shortly after getting the LE tin and this would have been a great film to inlcude the tv edit of. As mentioned on the commentary, the tv version put some deleted scenes back in, and the dubbing over some of the bad language is priceless.... |
you know, it's a cult movie, so when it's a matter of cult there's no way to explain the reason why I love this movie and somebody else hates it: because it's a cult!?
