Is Warner's 2010 Anamorphic

The box for the new Warner release of 2010 states "Enhanced for Widescreen TV's. Has anyone purchased this new version and can confirm that it is "Enhanced"?

Yes it is and it looks incredible on a 16:9 television!

Come again?

2001 is. 2010 is not. It's labeled wrong. Or did I miss something like a new release?

Well the original 2001 Warner release was not, but the remastered version is anamorphic. So....I don't know.

2010: THE YEAR WE MAKE CONTACT is NOT, NOT, NOT anamorphic--it is an oh-so-unfortunate misprint...

Not Anamorphic...

Not only is the film not anamorphic, the transfer looks
to be the very same print used for the widescreen
laserdisc edition. It DOES NOT look too good on a 16:9
HD set. 2010: THE YEAR WE MAKE CONTACT deserves a
remastered anamorphic transfer with a DTS soundtrack.

OOOPS
I misread it and thought it read 2001.
My Bad....
2010, I have no clue....great book...baaaaad movie.

Sorry for the wrong information.
