It's been years since I've seen it, but it's one of those that I really remember! .....GREAT movie, but sad!!
Any chance for an SE or re-release? ...I think the only feature is a trailer.
Just like to hear some opinions on this.
How is the transfer?
5.1 sound?
Thanks for any info / advice!

Don't know anyhing about a re-release, but one is definately welcomed. The current release is not onlybare-bones, but it is a flipper as well.
Great movie, definately warranting a SE reissue.

...ahh... I think the original poster was talking about the 1996 Barry Levinson movie Sleepers starring Kevin Bacon, Robert de Niro, Dustin Hoffman et al. - and, yes, it is very dramatic and sad...
Woody Allen's 1973 Sleeper is a comedy - and one of his funniest at that!

As for the video and audio they are both pretty stellar. I'd give the video an A-/B+ and the audio an A. But I'm sure the video could be improved upon in addition to being put on one side of a disc. Plus Levinson could provide an audio commentary and I'm sure there's got to be some promotional pieces, interviews with the cast, deleted scenes, etc.
