Just got done watching it. It looked and sounded great to me. The opening of the film sounds great with the mix of rain and surf. The sky diving scenes look and sound incredible. Interesting audio choices with DTS and DD 4.1. Yes 4.1 which is better then DTS And 2.0. I only listened to the DTS track though. Its a bit of a bare bones disc with 2 trailers and a featurette. Nothing fancy in the way of menus either.

My copy is f@#%ed up at the layer switch at the beginning of chapter 10. Has anyone else had trouble with the layer switch, or is it just me and my 2 DVD players?

I've had this problem also. Right as it goes to Chapt. 10, it dies. My laptop, it stops. My set-top, it pixelates real bad, and then skips to chapt. 11. Glad I'm not along...but this irritates me. Made quite a few pre-orders w/ buy.com. The Stargate set, they send me an individual volume, and now I need to return this one!! ARG!

Yeah, mine screws up at the layer switch too. This is the first time this has happened with any non-rented DVD, but I will try cleaning it (even though it's brand new) and playing it again...
