Please review the movie & DVD. I've heard mostly great things about this movie. Thanks.

A great DVD of one of my favorite movies. The audio is 2.0 and is quite good for its age. Video, I believe is anamorphic, but nonetheless, it is quite good also.

Any possible shortcomings anyone might want to point (I don't really have any to point out as, to me, it is great) would easily be outweighed by the Norman Jewison commentary which highlights a lot on the riskiness of making such a movie during a time when racial tensions were still very high in America.

You will not be disappointed by purchasing this movie on DVD!

Rod Steiger is very funny on the commentary. "He just wants to be left alone and chew his f**kin gum!"

In short, it is a fantastic film and a great disc. Definitely worth buying.
