I don't have those, but my receiver (VSX-D710S, and before that, the VSX-D409) and DVD player (DV-333) are both Pioneer, and I love them. I'm thinking about either getting the DVD changer you have or the progressive scan version (it isn't too much more these days).

I had a Pioneer system(cd player/receiver/tape deck) back in the early 90's and never had any problems.

I have the VSX-D509s receiver and the PD-F1039 (I think) 301 disc CD player. No complaints so far! Had the receiver for almost a year now.

another vote for the 509s receiver and dv-333. both have been fantastic so far and better performers than other components that i have used in a comparable price range (and even a bit higher)

Have a DV434 and for the money I love it.

I also own a PDM610 CD changer I bought back in 1990 or so and it still works great.

I have the progressive scan changer DV-C603, and I like it a lot. For the $300, it seems like a great value, the quality of the image and sound are awesome. I have noticed a few layer changes in DVDs, butnothing of concern.
