I have a Toshiba 27A50, and I am going to be hooking up a Panasonic RV65 to it shortly. I was considering purchasing an Acoustic Research set of Component Cables, I know they can be found online for like $30, but my question is, won't getting 3 RCA video cables from Radio Shack do the same thing, or will I really get better results from the Acoustic Research specialized cables?
Thanks a lot, -Jeff |
RADIO SHACK ALSO SELLS THE COMPONENT CABLES FOR ABOUT $40 DEPENDING ON THE SIZE YOU NEED.

From what I understand, you can use any RCA composite cables as long as they are rated at 75 ohm.
|
Yes, using regular RCA type cables will work. Make sure you get the ones designed for video, not audio. I did this and it works fine.
|
How do you know they are 75 ohm? What are the other choices and why ARE there choices?
|
as long as they are for video, you should be ok.
they sell these at Wal-Mart (will need to buy three obviously) |
The Radio Shack cables' part numbers:
15-1520 (12 feet) 15-1519 (6 feet) 15-1518 (3 feet) Here's the link for the 12 footer. Change the last two digits for the others: http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...5Fid=15%2D1520 |
