I have a Toshiba 27A50, and I am going to be hooking up a Panasonic RV65 to it shortly. I was considering purchasing an Acoustic Research set of Component Cables, I know they can be found online for like $30, but my question is, won't getting 3 RCA video cables from Radio Shack do the same thing, or will I really get better results from the Acoustic Research specialized cables?

Thanks a lot,
-Jeff

RADIO SHACK ALSO SELLS THE COMPONENT CABLES FOR ABOUT $40 DEPENDING ON THE SIZE YOU NEED.

From what I understand, you can use any RCA composite cables as long as they are rated at 75 ohm.

Yes, using regular RCA type cables will work. Make sure you get the ones designed for video, not audio. I did this and it works fine.

How do you know they are 75 ohm? What are the other choices and why ARE there choices?

as long as they are for video, you should be ok.

they sell these at Wal-Mart (will need to buy three obviously)

The Radio Shack cables' part numbers:

15-1520 (12 feet)
15-1519 (6 feet)
15-1518 (3 feet)

Here's the link for the 12 footer. Change the last two digits for the others:
