I have seen this player advertised on the Outpost.com (Tweeter) site. Anyone have this one? I checked Toshiba site and nothing. Does it have optical digital audio out? According to the Outpost.com site it is HDCD compatible. Thanks for anything you can advise.

I have seen this at Future Shop here in Canada.
It looks identical to the SD-1600 but has added the basic features that were lacking.
It is HDCD compatible, plays CD-R/RW and has optical and co-ax out which the 1600 doesn't. Also has the 4X zoom like the 1600.
Wish I had of waited as this has all the features I was looking for a month ago.
