At the Sound and Image fair here in Montreal. The 5th in importance in the world, it occupies 15 floors of 2 downtown hotels. Can you say drool? :)

Anyway, this one area had a presentation of a $350,000 HT system consisting of a number of Mark Levinson amps, Wilson Audio speakers (with mr Wilson himself in attendance), Runco projector, a Stewart big screen, and a bunch of other gear. Oh my!

Of course there were tons of other goodies all over the place, from the affordable to the non-affordable. :)

Going back this afternoon. I wonder if anyone would notice if I stole that Zenith 61" prototype plasma TV. :)

Bah, that's nothing, you should see what I have in my living room. Mine cost at least 1/1000th of that!

:)

That's an amazing set up....think you could borrow some pieces for your fellow DVDTalkers?

Yeah, you kindda stop bragging about your HT system after you see that. A humbling experience. :)

Maybe if I say I represent DVDTalk, they'll let me borrow some gear to test (wink, wink). :)

That is a nice setup, but you should have seen the DTS room at CES in January. JM Labs speakers. Halcro amps, Tag McLaren processor, JBL Pro subs, dual Runco projectors. The whole thing weighed in at around $750,000 for equipment only.
