We've got it here with a hub so my roommate and I can use it. We pay for 2 IP's. My current IP is banned from an FTP server I used to frequent (I didn't get banned, the last guy who had my IP did). How do I get a new IP? Someone said to reset the cable modem or something. Thanks.

Can I have the IP of the FTP server? ;)

If you pay for two IP's, I would guess that they are then static.. meaning you will always get the same IP. I would think the only option would be to ask RR to change it.

When I bought a new computer, my cable company automatically assigned me a new IP. So, you might try unpluging your cable modem for a few minutes and releasing your IP, or removing and reinstalling your NIC. That should give you a new IP. If you need more help, I will monitor this thread off and on today.

That is the prob is it not? Anyone who can use a proxy, could just keep coming back and back again.

Does Geoff have email conf. of new accounts as of now? If he ban's emails each time, it gets old for the troll to sign up a new email account, and then sign up a new account each time. Even the real crazy ones give up after 10 or so times...
