I am looking at DV-C603 or DV-C36 DVD players. They are both 5-disk progressive scan players. Any info is appreciated.

Sorry, I don't know anything about these Pioneers. Aren't these really new? Anyway, just to give you another option for a mult-disk progressive scan player, Harmon Kardon has a new player referenced below:

Oh, the HK retails for $599, also does HDCD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 decoding.
