All you need to do is get a Y-Adapter to split the LFE output into two wires and connect each one to one sub. Quite easy to do and should be trouble free! I myself have 3 subs and my receiver has 2 LFE outputs and my subs have pass-through output that lets me not even have to split one of the LFE outputs of my receiver.

try this..
You can also try this....
Most subs have a "high level" speaker wire pair input which is has a high pass through.
In other words send your surround speakers wires to your second sub placed behind your listening position, then run the wires out from the sub to your surround speakers.
On your reciever, set your rears speakers to large.
This will give your rear sub, the bass freqs properly behind you and if your delay is set right, it'll will be an amazing effect! Your rear surrounds will act as usual without the low-low stuff..
now you have a fully functioning rear sub delayed properly!
Try listening to the Haunting DTS signature DVD ! or the best, Saving Private Ryan DTS for full effect.
