I was walking back from class just a few minutes ago and a thought popped into my head. With all the money and time I've invested into my HT, I seem to spend more time reading (and occasionally posting on) DVD Talk than I do watching movies or listening to music with this system I have spent so much money on. Have any of you found yourself doing this also?

I wonder if this means anything? Oh well...

If this isn't the right place to be asking this, feel free to move it.

My ratio is probably similar, but that's because I can read about HT at work, but I can't watch my HT at work. And, having not joined the leisure class yet, I spend more time at work. Soon to change?

However, the information I read here allows me to enjoy my time spent watching HT more.

20:1 (HT to DVD Talk)

I'm not here much at all, might even be closer to 100:1.

Agree 100% Now If I could just get a DVD ROM and Soudcard out of the people from systems and Sony 5.1 Headphones my posting would go wayyyy down....

I use this forum more..it bothers the neighbors less, and it travels with me. (Laptop).

Also, I have been learning a LOT about speakers, calibration, equiptment, etc. from reading this forum. Knowledge is power, or something like that...

Ahh, but back when I was posting like you guys I had ethernet, and also had a less than impressive home theater system. Now I spend more time with that system then I do my kids...or maybe that's because I don't have any kids.

Well, to address the topic at hand, I'm on here more than I watch movies, but then I do this from work too and, heck, I'm an Admin/Mod.
