i heard that samsung 709 can be manipulated into playing different region dvds other than region 1.

here is how I did it for mine...

Find an Aiwa remote---mine wasn't listed on the 709 hack website that the previous poster replied with...

Press Shift and 3 simultaneously...the draw opens and Bingo!

Turned the LCD display option to "bright" to make it permanent...

hope that helps....experiment with it...I was lucky, my method worked the first time.

I hacked my 709 using the new hack code but I just received "Snatch" (Reg 2) today and it won't play. Any suggestions why it's not playing? :confused:
