I am trying to decide between these 2 players. The only thing keeping me from getting one or the other is picture quality. Would there be any noticible difference between them on my 27" Sony Trinitron? I'm 99% sure I want to go with the Pioneer because I want to play CDR's, but if the sony has a much better quality picture I'd go with that. Also, I can get the Pioneer for 190 while the Sony is 250. That price difference makes me feel that the Sony must be a better player.

Both are great. Since you need CDR capability get the Pioneer.

I have the Sony, and it hasnt given me one single problem in the 6 months Ive had it. Well worth the $250(you can probably get it cheaper online)
