4K disc drive for PC ?
We run an HTPC in the living room for most computing and even media watching and I was just wondering if there are disc drives I could buy to play 4K discs through our computer?

Sure. Just make sure your motherboard and video card can process the 4K signal. There are many external 4K blu ray drives and even some internal ones.
