Do I need a receiver of some sort ot make this work??
If some one can help i would certainly appreciate it. Thanks!! |
you need and RF Modulator. You can get one from Radioshack for about 30 bucks. The sound may be downmixed to mono(I'm not sure on that one) but it'll work. Welcome to DVD!

Instead of spending $30 on an RF modulator, consider buying a new TV, especially if your old TV is not 27" or greater. You can buy nice 27" TVs for around $300 to $350.
Most DVDs are in widescreen format (which is good), but the picture is really tiny on a 19" TV. Then again, if you can pick up a mono modulator for $12, that will buy you some time. |
