hello -
i am in the process of re-calibrating my sony WEGA and was wondering if the color temp should be set at COOL, WARM, or NEUTRAL to start calibrating at. I heard somewhere that WARM was the best but i could never get past the fact that it looked a little too red no matter how "right" everything else looked (ie, in B&W movies the tint always seemed a tad red compared to neutral). thanks!!! |
In warm, is everything too red, or brown? It doesn't look too red to me, but I'm used to a well calibrated RPTV (which took a bit of getting used to originally). I think I also heard warm gives the best color temperature (closest to NTSC standard), and I calibrated that way. But my reds look too orange. I'm thinking about going neutral and trying again. Cool would be way too blue.
